What is Hypnotherapy?
It is a completely natural and safe therapy. It could be described as 'guided daydreaming'. In a session, the individual is led into a very calm and pleasant relaxed state. You will feel safe and supreamly comfortable. In the relaxed state, an individual can completely unwind and for this reason, hypnosis is very good at treating stress.
In addition, the relaxed state causes an individual's brain waves to be slowed and in this state we can gain access to the subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind holds all of our experiences, attitudes and desires. It drives us to behave the way we do. Once we have gained access to the subconscious mind, we can re-educate it for the good.
A great number of the problems we encounter in our lives are the result of damaging or incorrect information we have gathered during our lives. By taking time to relax and open up our subconscious , it is possible to gain insight into why we are as we are and I will help you put only positive and constructive information into your subconscious. Please be aware though that you will be consciously aware of what is happening and can leave the trance state at will.
Most importantly, hypnotherapy is an extremly pleasant and positive experience.
Hypnotherapy can help with a great many problems that individuals may face in their lives. These are 'mind over matter' problems which we perhaps can consciously rationalise as being silly or ridiculous but somehow we retain them. Our subconscious rules our behaviour and serves to protect us but in certain situations it can 'over protect'.
In hypnotherapy and its associated relaxation, we can gain access to the subconscious mind and therefore overcome our particular problem.
